The best cinnamon rolls ever. Many other choices of cookies bread muffins and bagels. Made fresh every day. And they have a sample board. Where you can try different items. Awesome 👌 👏 👍

Lots of wonderful breads to choose from. Upon entering you will be overwhelmed with wonderful aromas. The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. A great experience.

A great stop whether you plan to buy or not we always pick up a few loaves. But the bonus is you get to try lots of different keep nds of bread. The samples are generous. It’s always a fun stop. Love the 9 grain.

The House of Bread is a little hole in the wall bakery just off the 101 in SLO that makes absolutely delicious bread and pastries! My wife and I stopped in last weekend and the ladies behind the counter could not have been more helpful. They answered all our questions and helped us pick out an apple tart pastry (awesome!) and a loaf of Grandma's White Bread to take home. I gave only 4 stars for "Atmosphere" but you need to understand that this is a working bakery. It is simple, clean, and efficient. And not meant to be glamorous. (At least in my opinion) We will definitely be back next time we are up in SLO
This is definitely the "go to" place for fresh bread, cookies, and pastries! Walking into the bakery, there is the ambience of "old school"" baking as evident with the large revolving ovens and other baking equipment. It was especially nice to see an iconic bread slicer. I have not seen one of those since my early Navy days making fresh bread. The breads there are so many different varieties and all are great! The aroma of all the baking will keep you inside the place for quite some time. They also make lunch sandwiches and there is nothing like a good sandwich on freshly made bread. Had the Italian Grinder and it was awesome with a good cup of coffee. The bread menu changes and there is a schedule on their website. Very cool to know what they are going to make each day. The person on shift was very friendly, helpful and made recommendations. Provided samples to try which was a nice touch. Very informative and also shared the Farmhouse store offered bakery classes. There is more information about these classes on the website that include online classes and a podcast. Well worth checking out. Place is a "must stop" while visiting SLO or just driving through. Makes for a great road stop while traveling on the 101 as it is not far off the exit. Also a great stop while attending the weekly SLO Farmers Market.
This is one of my favorite places to stop when I visit family in Paso Robles. I'm a sucker for their cinnamon and raspberry swirl rolls. Yeasty and wonderful. I like being able to get a choice of their bread when ordering a sandwich. Specialty breads are amazing. Picked up a loaf of the raspberry swirl bread as a thank you gift for my neighbor... she loved it. It's definitely situated in a little corner with limited parking but that's part of the fun ... such a great place.
